# Keep your Kibi parts up to date

Apply updates to the Kibi parts in your Framer project while keeping their settings and placement.

Free plugin · Coming to the Framer Marketplace. These are real captures of the packaged product. Kibi account required for entries and files sent to Kibi.

- ## Look for the update notice

Open Designs. When an installed part has an update, the tab says “N Kibi parts have an update”. Check for this notice before applying an update.

- ## Update the parts

Choose Update. The parts keep their settings and placement. Preview the form afterwards and check your labels, choices, logic and mobile layout.

- ## Publish the updated site

Publish from Framer to put the updated parts on the live site. Send a fictional entry and check the result in Kibi if the form is connected.

BEFORE YOU MOVE ON

Updating the canvas is not the same as publishing the site. Always finish by checking the live form.
